When my daughter Aurelia Grace was a teenager, about the same age as I did when younger, she started making crafts and selling them. When she was 19, she was attacked and killed in her apartment by a person she met a few days before through her best friend.
In her memory, I started doing the same, making things with my own hands, with my own best friend, and selling them online. When I found out how much web developers wanted to build a website to sell my products, I was aghast! I did not have $5,000!
I thought to myself, there has to be another way to get a website done. I searched online and found WordPress, and since then I have been learning and creating, not just with my hands, but with my heart and mind too.
Since 2005, I have built the first version of this website and many other sites with WordPress, but have also returned to higher learning, BYU-Idaho online, and have learned many other programming, developer, administrator and cybersecurity skills. My goal is to complete my Bachelor of Science in Applied Technology by the end of 2024.
